 PT @ J. Levine Gallery
« Thread Started on Dec 1, 2007, 2:39am »

I don't know if anyone else saw, but I went to the Johnathon Levine galley this afternoon and saw the Pop Tart silk screen on Acrylic for only seven hundred USD. I emailed them and they said that they were sold out in Milli seconds, then got a second email explaining that they were misquoted by 9,300 USD. Figure that one out :-/

And to think I thought I found the deal of a decade :'(

Hope most of you all were lucky enough to nab a print or two today. They are both splendid!

I had a pre release email and saw those prices just presumed they were too good to be true.

I should add that I asked her plenty of questions because I couldnt believe what I was hearing, then I rang back to make sure because I still wasnt understanding why they were that price, all the time they kept telling me and others that 700 was right.l

All for were for sale when I was there at the opening reception. 10K / each. They look amazing but 10K is outta my range. Met blek... who look's like a conservative librarian. Haha.
